The Asian Australian Project was proud to celebrate our Asian Australian leaders in the LGBTQIA+ community with our Fireside Chats: The AAP Edition this Pride Month. ✨
Join us for some robust discussion and exploration into the intersectionality of sexuality and culture. Hear from representatives from the LGBTQ+ community as they navigate the intricate topics of:
- Navigating the conversation of sexuality with family in the face of cultural and religious stigma
- The influence of media in their representation of the LGBTQ+ Community
- The role of culture when it comes to dating preferences and relationships
- What resources are available to those starting off on their journey

🌈 Lloyd King (he/him) – Public Officer for Trikone Australia, supporting the Queer South Asian Community
🌈 Cherie Mulyono (She/ Her) – Tax Partner at PwC, Co-Sponsor Partner for Shine (PwC’s LGBTI network) and is also involved in Be (PwC’s diverse cultural background network).
